It’s completely normal to feel a bit unsure, especially if this is your first time in therapy. Our first session is a chance for me to learn more about you: what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and how I can support you. You don’t need to have anything perfectly figured out or know exactly what to say. Even in future sessions, if you ever arrive unsure of what to talk about, that’s okay. Therapy doesn’t need to follow a set agenda. We’ll always find something meaningful to explore together, and I’ll help make that process feel like a natural, comfortable conversation.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come to work through a specific issue and wrap up after a few months. Others find that having a regular space to reflect and check in each week feels meaningful and want to continue longer term. We’ll keep checking in about how it’s feeling and make sure the pace and focus work for you.

Yes. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions to make counselling accessible and comfortable for every client.
In-person sessions take place at my London, Ontario office, providing a calm, welcoming environment for those who prefer to meet face-to-face.I also offer online therapy to clients anywhere in Ontario through a secure, PHIPA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a private link before each session, no special software needed. Many clients appreciate the flexibility of virtual therapy, whether they’re connecting from the comfort of home or another quiet, private space.

Not exactly. I won’t tell you what to do, but I also won’t just sit back and nod. My role is to help you slow down, understand what’s behind your choices, and make decisions that feel true to who you are.

That’s a great question. The connection you have with your therapist really matters. I offer a free 30-minute video consultation so we can meet, talk about what’s bringing you in, and get a feel for whether we’d work well together. If it doesn’t feel like a fit, that’s okay. I’m happy to help you find someone who might be. What matters most is that you end up with the right support.
You might find I’m a good fit if you’re looking for a therapist who’s real, curious, and willing to go deep. I’m not big on quick fixes or surface-level advice. I tend to work best with people who want to understand themselves better and make changes that actually last, people who value honesty, reflection, and a bit of humour along the way.
