It’s completely normal to feel a bit unsure, especially if this is your first time in therapy. Our first session is a chance for me to learn more about you: what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and how I can support you. You don’t need to have anything perfectly figured out or know exactly what to say. Even in future sessions, if you ever arrive unsure of what to talk about, that’s okay. Therapy doesn’t need to follow a set agenda. We’ll always find something meaningful to explore together, and I’ll help make that process feel like a natural, comfortable conversation.

It varies from person to person. Some clients come for a few months to work through a specific issue, while others engage in longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and life transitions. We’ll revisit your goals as we go and make sure the work continues to feel meaningful and helpful.

Yes. I offer virtual therapy to clients anywhere in Ontario using a secure, PHIPA-compliant video platform. You’ll get a link before each session, no special software needed. Many clients appreciate the ease and flexibility of online therapy, whether they're at home, on a lunch break, or in a quiet corner of their day.

Not exactly. My approach is insight-oriented, which means I focus on helping you better understand yourself — your patterns, emotions, beliefs, and needs. I don’t offer quick fixes or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I work with you to uncover your own inner clarity and build the self-trust and self-compassion needed for meaningful change.

That’s an important question. The relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. I offer a free 15-minute video consultation so we can connect, talk a bit about what you’re looking for, and see if my approach feels like a good fit. If not, I’m happy to suggest other options. Finding the right therapist matters, and I want you to feel supported either way.
